1- Before an Accident: Get Appropriate Training to Prevent Accidents
A- General Health & Safety Training
Slips, Trips and Falls
These are still the most common cause of accidents, and the easiest to avoid if you follow these instructions to access the online course

Access the 30-minute online course using these instructions
Workplace Hazardous Materials
E-mail the organizers and read the description of the two-hour WHMIS Seminar, or read UofT’s WHMIS Publication online
Electrical Safety
E-mail the organizers and check the description for the 4-hour course
B- Lasers
Laser Safety Training
If you work near Lasers, you must register for Laser Safety Training Every three years, take the Online Refresher Course
C- Cryogenics
Training

Fire

When the fire alarm sounds: Evacuate immediately, stay away from building until expliclty instructed to re-enter.
3- After the Accident: Fill the Legal Forms
Report as Required by Law and University Policy
